Annual Knights Read-A-Thon- Kick raised over $15,000

Our Knights Read A Thon is a community-building fundraising event involving the participation of the entire student body. Students are sponsored by friends, family, and businesses for their participation. A safe and fun way to grow your imagination all while raising funds and building school community!
Proceeds are budgeted and distributed to items such as playground improvements, recess equipment, special assemblies, teacher “wish list” requests, after-school clubs, social event traditions, campus improvements, and so much more. Please visit www.ptcnewcastle.org /distribution for a detailed overview.
Our main goal this year is to provide a shaded getaway for students. Covered seating around campus is sure to add a great space to sit with a good book!

Obstacle Fun Run
The Fun Run was PTC’s main fundraising event of the year. It is lucrative and community-building within our school as it involves the participation of the entire student body. Leading up to the Fun Run, students procure sponsorships from friends, family, and businesses for their participation in an Obstacle Course. Held on lower campus during the school day, class-by-class students run the course, including inflatables, tires, tubes, and more. The students and spectators have a blast while raising funds and building the school community! The 2019 Fun Run was held on October 18th. The event raised over $32,000.00. The Newcastle PTC has not transitioned to the Annual Color Run in leui of the Fun Run.
