Focused Fundraising
PTC relies on a budget that allows us to say “yes” to opportunities and resources that make Newcastle special, from assemblies, art and science supplies, and classroom contributions to larger school needs like marquees and playground equipment, plus field day, dances, and so much more!
Last year, we raised over $25,000 to enhance our students’ learning experiences and directly support NECS classrooms. While that is something to celebrate, fundraising over the past few years has fallen short of what we need to sustain our commitments. Without meeting our goals, we face difficult decisions and potentially significant cuts to the programs and support our students and families enjoy.
This year, we’re making a strong push to reach our fundraising goal and keep saying “yes.” We aim to keep requests of families to a minimum by holding just a couple of large, focused fundraisers each year—so we can spend more time giving back.

HARVEST HUSTLE

🍂 Get ready for a day of fall fun at the Newcastle Knights Harvest Hustle! 🍂
This year, we’re celebrating the season with haystacks, cornstalks, pumpkins, and plenty of Knight spirit! Our students will run, race, and hustle through a festive fall course while raising support for our amazing school programs.
With music and autumn fun around every turn, it’s sure to be an awesome day! Whether students are sprinting like the wind or enjoying a lap with friends, the Harvest Hustle is all about our Knight community and supporting our amazing school!

RUN SCHEDULE
📍 Kentucky Greens — Lower Field and Blacktop
Students will start in staggered heats of approximately 15–20 runners, with each group beginning 45–60 seconds after the previous group. This gives everyone more room to run and enjoy the course! Students may complete multiple laps if they’d like. The course will be arranged to keep entrances and exits flowing smoothly, and spectators can root for our runners from a designated cheer area. Bring your Knight spirit and your loudest cheers!

About the event
Join us for a Fundraiser Dinner supporting your 6th grade Knights to science camp. Dinner featuring Garden Penne Pasta, Pasta Pomodoro, Cali Caesar Salad, Focaccia Bread. Music, Dessert Auction, Bar. Family Friendly!
$1 processing fee applied by WIX- does not go to the organization.

Every year Newcastle raises money for our annual Assembly and Field Trip Budget

Flash-frozen for the best flavor and freeze for up to a year!

Giving Campaign
The Giving Campaign is a simple and straightforward fundraiser in which families simply donate directly to the PTC without any further obligation to sell, buy, or participate! Donations can be made anytime throughout the year, however, there are a couple of targeted giving dates that will be promoted.
Donations can be made by check or cash and given to your child’s teacher, or on this website by clicking the "Donate" Icon on the header or footer of each page.
Business Sponsorships
The PTC counts on the generosity of many local businesses for financial support. Last year alone, business sponsorships for the annual FUN RUN totaled over $2,000.00, along with valuable non-monetary donations of products and services. Businesses can choose from various sponsorship levels, all offering business promotions to NECS families. With the use of year-round social media posts for our sponsors. In addition, a spot on our website for one year. NECS families are encouraged to use sponsoring businesses when in need of goods or services.
